Our club maintains a well equipped 1500 sq. ft. workshop in which courses are run and in which club members can work independently during supervised times during the week. Located at 217 Bell Street North in Ottawa.

The club owns a variety of lapidary and metal smithing equipment, which is available to members on Wednesdays from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and on Saturdays from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

For a $2.00 fee, (fee per cut on the slabbing machines), a member has access to two 18 inch slabbing saws, one 10 inch slabbing saw, up to five trimming saws from 4 inches to 10 inches, grinding and polishing tools from 100 grit and above, two facetting machines, diamond flat laps for intarsia, one rolling mill, and sets of metal smithing tools.

Special activities are also a part of our annual program. These include demonstrations, open house events, and other special activities. Collectively, our members have a wealth of talent and knowledge which they are always willing to share with beginners and advanced users alike.
